LANCE D. LOURIE: Having worked for insurance companies in the past, I know what goes on in their huddle. I know how to get results from them. In essence, I learned to play offense by playing defense. I practice in the areas of nursing home neglect and abuse, medical malpractice, and what we call catastrophic general liability cases, which are things like trucking cases, road defect cases, products liability. I try very hard to address each client's particular needs. Most of my clients are catastrophically injured. I can't change the past for them. But I try to have an impact on what their future will be.
